Kelly Collins (Hilary Duff) is a normal teenager in New York. Everything is going perfect, until she found out that her and her family were moving(which is quite an upset for Kelly) - but, things got worse. Kelly had to go to Military School. Unfortuantly, she couldn't convince her parents to not make her go there. In Military School, she meets Carla (Andrea Lewis), who tries to guide her but Kelly refuses to listen to Carla, leading Kelly into a heap of trouble. Cadet Captain Jennifer Stone (Christy Carlson Romano), the "meanest 16-year-old in America," tries everything she can to get Kelly into trouble. Kelly, while doing her punishment job (polishing shoes for the drill team), she spots the drill team and thinks that it is beautiful the way they do it, so she tried it. Cadet Captain Jennifer Stone's assitant, Gloria (Aimee Garcia), desides to help Kelly.

In the power struggle that ensues, an unusual love triangle emerges exposing the perversities of the human heart and the idiosyncrasies of the civilized mind. Human Nature is a comical examination of the trappings of desire in a world where both nature and culture are idealized.

And towards the series ending they will be saying good bye to their Junior school. Matt, Lizzie's little bro, played by Jake Thomas is hilarious. He makes Lizzie's life seem worse than it really is. Kate Sanders, played by Ashley Briaullt, makes her school and sometimes personal life seem like hell.

When they get back to the house they find out that the rider has told Georgia's parents that Phemie's father is dead. So Phemie's brother-in-law Bartlett comes to take Phemie to Texas to live with him and Phemie's sister Sarah.
